Details
A crown is an artificial tooth covering that fits over a cracked or broken natural tooth. We do this by trimming the tooth in all dimensions, and encapsulating the tooth within the crown.
Dental crowns are constructed in a laboratory and can be made from metal, tooth coloured materials or a combination of both. Your dentist will discuss which is the best option for you, and you can choose what type of crown you would like.
